How to use spellchecker?

To setup the spellchecker, you must do the following:

1. Setup

- on Linux, you need to install aspell package for your distribution
Additionally you need to install aspell dictionary for the language you want to check (for example aspell-en package for English language)

You can find dictionaries at: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/0index.html
But it is strongly advised to use package manager tools of your distro (like "yum" or "apt-get") to install the needed dictionary.

- on Windows, you need to create two directories inside the directory where NoteCasePro is installed "data" and "dict"
You should copy the contents of the installed dictionary into "dict"
You should copy the "data" directory that comes with aspell source code archive into "data" folder

You can find installers for large number of dictionaries at: ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/contrib/aspell6-windows/

2. Usage

- you need to use Options dialog (Spellcheck tab), to define what dictionary you want to use for spellchecking.
For example, to use English language, you need to enter language code "en".

- then, as you type, any incorrectly written word will be underlined in red color line.
You can use context menu (right-mouse button click) to get a spellcheck suggestions and to fix this word
